StudyMate

StudyMate is the NCEA external exam study tool built by a student, for students. StudyMate provides instant access to all publicly available past exam papers from NZQA. With a built in timer and easy to use exam picker, this tool makes it easy to practice an exam paper, in preparation for the real deal.

StudyMate also includes a results upload section, so you may keep track of your progress and view a graph of said progress. Check out the screen shots below to get a feel for the app's easy-on-the-eyes colour scheme for all those late night study sessions.

As a student myself, I understood the struggle of studying and never knowing if I was ever studying the right thing. I then started throwing myself at exam papers and found that after trying a paper, it was much easier to go back and revise on the areas I struggled most in. But the NZQA website takes to long to find papers and instead puts me off the mood. So I came up with the idea of a easy access past exams viewer. It started out as a simple website, but quickly grew into what I can confidently say is an essential tool for all NCEA seniors.
